All Who Are Lost Are Truly Lost

Why do they do it to themselves, these LOST fans. I like good TV as much as the next guy when it actually happens , yet even if I did like LOST it wouldn t be with more than the casual interest I give shows like Greys Anatomy, or Prison Break. I look forward to my one house escape from reality and that s it; why can t LOST fans get enough. I m guessing that is not his real name, although I wouldn t be surprised if he d legally changed to it by now, since it is also the name of a short lived LOST character from season one. Remember, I said I didn t like it, not that I never watched it. Clearly the BDSM implications were a little descriptive of this guys relations with LOST, but clearly just the tip of the iceberg as far as poor soul is concerned. The piece is basically the inner spewing of an obsessive compulsive LOST fan who despite opening his piece with an attempt to convince us that he has a life, clearly does not. I challenge you to read this piece. Look, I m not the guy who cuts the power cables at...

Deep Connective Tissue Massage

What is it. The development of deep connective tissue massage therapy is credited to the German, Elizabeth Dicke. She had a medical condition in her legs that caused them to stay cold and discolored, and develop gangrene. One day while doing stretches in her lower back, she noticed warmth and a tingling sensation in her legs. When she continued the stretches, her legs gradually improved over time. She began to develop a massage technique based on her observations with two medical doctors, Kohlrausch and Teirich-Leube. This technique eventually came to be called deep connective tissue massage. Deep connective tissue massage treats the body as a whole instead of just focusing on individual areas at a time. In this manner, it can treat the problem areas in the body by massaging connective tissues. Connective tissues fill the spaces in the body between muscles and fibers, and form a layer around blood vessels to protect them. They are very delicate and do not take stress well, therefore they can become injured...

Are You Feeling Paranoid?

I have never been a person that is constantly afraid of something going wrong with my health or of dying. In fact, I have spent most of my life without fears about health or death. My wife, on the other hand, has always been really concerned about issues relating to her health and to the health of the ones she loves most. I guess some would call her paranoid about health issues. I had never met someone so paranoid about health issues until I met my wife. It took me a few years to really understand where she was coming from when she would urge me to the doctor at the first sign of a cough or cold. I spent the first years of my married life quite frustrated by her and her constant paranoid ideas about our health and life. My wife decided to begin going to counseling to discuss her issues of being paranoid about health and disease and dying. She asked me to accompany her and I agreed with great joy. I wanted to take every opportunity I could not only to understand my wife, but also to learn how I could better...

Air Purifier Filters Do You Want To Clean Or Replace?

Air purifier filters can have a huge impact on the choice of air purifier we choose to buy, as many of us do not wish to incur the time and expense involved with regular replacement of these air cleaning filters. As the effectiveness of your air cleaner is dependent on keeping it well maintained and running smoothly, it is wise to consider whether you want to deal with air purifier filters before you buy. One of the most effective air cleaning technologies available today is that used in the HEPA air purification systems, said to remove 99.97 of particulates from the air. This type of air cleaner, however, employs special air purifier filters, which must be changed on a regular basis in order to maintain the system s efficiency. There are also air purifiers available which don t need air purifier filters; electronic air purifiers do not require air cleaning filters to work. This system works by gathering particles from the air on collecting plates inside the cleaner, and while these do not require regular...

A Better Night S Sleep In Ten Easy Steps

A good night s sleep is probably one of the most under-rated means of leading a healthy and stress free existence. If you are finding it difficult to sleep, the simplest of all solutions are always the best. The adjustments that you need to make are more towards what you do before you go to sleep rather than what you do once you get into bed. Here are some useful tips to obtain a better night s sleep: Routine: Build a routine, such as a quick shower or a hot water bath, reading a book, or watching a relaxing film, before you get into bed. This puts your body into a relaxed mode and makes it easier to slip into a good night s rest. Gentle Exercise: Try not to do strenuous exercise prior to going to sleep. The body needs time to unwind before sleep. Gentle relaxation exercises are more beneficial. Relax: Try not to indulge in activities that energize your brain cells, they take a long time to settle down, and by the time they do that, half the night is over. Avoid certain drinks: Avoid caffeine and tobacco and...

It is fall and the trees are ablaze in all of their glory. Somehow the sterile scenery of the...

How To Estimate A Used Car S Value

When searching for a used car, one of the most important factors to consider is whether the car you are looking for really is worth its tag price. Even though the car may look like quite a deal, it is possible that you are being ripped off. Here are a few tips to help you make that decision when considering used cars. Do a Little Research When you find a used car that catches your fancy make sure you do research on that car. Find out how much that car costs if it were brand new. You should also look into whether the car is still in production and if its parts are still available. You could also try a little shop hopping to compare used car prices among cars of the same value and same age. If a car s price is too low, that should send you into a state of alarm. It is possible that the car is much more trouble than it is worth. If it is too expensive, you may want to ask why that is so. The Older the Car the Cheaper is Should Become Brand new cars typically lose up to 30 in their value in 3 years, and by the...
